Our network monitoring solution provides an early warning system to potential problems with your network, server(s), database...It's a Linux-based solution that is hosted on a server to monitor your network's vital signs: your server(s) and Internet availability, speed and usage...
Email notifications are sent to key personnel warning of potential problems. When these emails are received, our engineers immediately remotely check to see whether there is an issue, and whether it can be resolved remotely. If not, an immediate on-site visit is made to resolve the issue...even off-hours.
The cost of our system is $1600 for up to five servers. Our price includes a new, Dell PowerEdge 210 rack-mount server, the software and labor required to design, integrate & install our Linux-based monitoring solution.
The Nagios System

Monitoring
IT staff configure Nagios to monitor critical IT infrastructure components, including system metrics, network protocols, applications, services, servers, and network infrastructure
Alerting
Nagios sends alerts when critical infrastructure components fail and recover, providing administrators with notice of important events. Alerts can be delivered via email, SMS, or custom script.
Response
IT staff can acknowledge alerts and begin resolving outages and investigating security alerts immediately. Alerts can be escalated to different groups if alerts are not acknowledged in a timely manner.
Reporting
Reports provide a historical record of outages, events, notifications, and alert response for later review.
Maintenance
Scheduled downtime prevents alerts during scheduled maintenance and upgrade windows.
Planning
Trending and capacity planning graphs and reports allow you to identify necessary infrastructure upgrades before failures occur.
